The purpose of the Cree values tour is to inspire and revive in our young people the values our ancestors once held sacred and lived by. Also, to encourage and strengthen the special bond between youth and elders, so that our young people will find pride in being and living the Eeyou way.
Robbie Matthew is a respected Elder with an extensive knowledge and experience on Cree Values and how they play an important role in the lives of the Cree Nation.
Shadrock Trapper is a youth role model who has demonstrated that one can turn away from a negative and unhealthy lifestyle to live a positive and healthy lifestyle.
These two will speak straight to your heart! Come and listen to the voices and wisdom of our very own people! Come and join us! Be inspired!

The purpose of the “Journey Through the Heart of Eeyou Istchee 2011” is to promote ‘Cancer’ awareness; remembering the ones that have gone before us and to work toward proactive measures in dealing with this disease in the Cree Nation.
The Journey will depart from Nemaska on January 15, 2011 and will travel through the Communities of Whapmagoostui, Chisasibi, Wemindji, Eastmain, Waskaganish, Waswanipi, Ouje-bougoumou, Mistissini and will return to Nemaska for its final arrival on March 31, 2011.

The CNYC is hosting a Cree Youth Symposium as part of its "Inspire Hope Campaign". The purpose of the symposium is to gather over 200 young Crees from all communities of Eeyou Istchee to discuss issues and to inspire them to take action for a brighter future.

The Youth and Elders Gathering will be held in Waswanipi on March 23-25, 2010. The gathering’s purpose is to provide Elder participation to bridge the gap between youth and elders to form and build friendships, bonding and the passing of traditional knowledge, stories, values and traditions.
