Cree Youth at the 2010 Olympics |

The Cree Nation Youth had the honor to be present at the Vancover 2010 Winter Olympic Games. It was joyous experience as the youth delegation had the opportunity to participate in such a historic occasion.
 The 2010 Olympics in Vancover, British-Columbia, is the 21st Winter Olympics and never before did you see such a huge involvement for Native people in the promotion and implementation of the event in Canada. A delegation of 90 Cree Members from all the Cree communities were at hand to celebrate Cree Day. A day dedicated to the Crees of Eeyou Istchee: a day to celebrate Cree culture, values and history at a prestigious international event. Several Youth were present during the whole experience.
