The CNYC Board of Directors’ are elected member and are as follows:
- The CNYC Chairperson/Spokesperson during his/her term of four (4) years;
- Each Chairman of the Local Youth Council, for a term corresponding to his term in office or in his absence the Vice-Chairman for a total of nine (9) members;
- The Youth Development Coordinator from each community for a total of nine (9) members;
- One (1) members appointed by the Cree Youth of Senneterre and Washaw Sibi Eeyou respectively as observers
- Two (2) Cree Elders as ex-officio members appointed by the Regional Council of Elders.
